13. the awakening

The tools of rural and peasant civilization used for personal care tell a story of simplicity. The basin (called a "baccile"), the jug, and the chamber pot (pital) called a "urinal" were essential household objects of the past.

The basin was used for washing the face, while the jug contained the necessary water. The chamber pot, on the other hand, was an indispensable object for nighttime needs. These objects, made of ceramic or metal, were an integral part of domestic life.

These objects, exhibited along the route of the "Posticciola widespread museum," have become testimonies of a past worth remembering and preserving.
