5. the cart (wheel)
On display are the characteristic wheels of a vintage farm cart, made of wood and iron, dating back to the first half of the 20th century, which was the most commonly used means of transport, pulled by animals (horse, ox or mule).
Wagons were used to transport agricultural products, goods, hay, and people. A lantern was always attached to the wagon for light when needed. The wagon was equipped with "sides," sometimes painted, whose height depended on the goods being transported.
(A complete “Farm Cart” is on display shortly after the entrance to the village in a public garden)
